We were trying to think of the best thing for families to do at Disney.
So while we were in Kissimmee, we took our children to Disney’s Animal Kingdom!

This was a very cool place to take your children!
There is all sorts of neat stuff to do there.
You will also see all kinds of exotic animals.
They take you out in huge trucks which are just like the trucks used on real African safaris.
So you get in these trucks and head out to the “Savannah” as they call it.
Once you’re on the Savannah you see all sorts of animals.
They had elephants, tigers, hippos, rhinoceros, lions, crocodiles, and gorillas.
I think the gorillas were our favorite as their traits were so human like.
They also had different countries represented and a fantastic roller coaster called the Glacier Express!
We loved that!
They also had a movie when we were there called “A Bugs life” which my kids also loved.
They had a huge tree called The Tree of Life which was one of the biggest trees I think I’ve ever seen.
The tree represents all the different animals that live on the plains in Africa.
You can also have you family photo taken with Micky or Minnie which also makes for a wonderful lifetime memory!
So we believe that taking children to the Animal Kingdom is one of the best things for families to do at Disney.
I believe all parents want to take their children to Disney at some point.

But regardless if you’re a parent, make sure you visit Disney with your children at least once.
