As far as the best places to stay in the Clearwater-Madeira Beach Florida area, we stayed in a condo just south of Clearwater in Madeira Beach.
There is Clearwater, Indian Shores, Madeira, Treasure Island, St Petersburg on down to Naples.

We had a 2-bedroom beach front condo in Madeira Beach which we really enjoyed.
The units inside were beautiful.
They had living room, dining room, bedrooms and 2 baths and a full kitchen, and there was 6 of us so this worked out nicely.
The way the living room was furnished, it looked like something out of Better Homes and Gardens magazine.
The dining area also accommodated all of us quite nicely.
As I said there were 6 of us. My wife, her brother and his wife and our two children so the full dining area worked out great.
We were on the corner of the building so the second bedroom had a king-sized bed and faced the side of the building next door.
We had a 2-bedroom 2 bath unit so each bedroom so we had a private bathroom in the master bedroom.
The bathrooms were furnished nicely and some even had Jacuzzi’s but ours did not.
However, it was still very nice.
Our master bedroom also had a king-sized bed and faced the ocean.
So every morning when we woke up, the first thing I saw was that beautiful emerald water or the ocean outside. It made for a very nice way to wake up.
As I mentioned before we had 2 children with us.
So having a full kitchen inside the units certainly worked out great for us.
Not that my wife wanted to cook every meal, but we’d have eggs and toast or cereal for breakfast, and maybe sandwiches for lunch and then eat most dinners out.
This saved me a ton on food expense which I was very happy about.
There was also a full washer and dryer in the unit.

With us having two children with us, this was also quite helpful because it saved us the trouble of having to go to a laundromat to wash our clothes.
So if you’re wanting to take a trip to a beautiful beach but now wanting to leave the United States, I highly recommend the west coast of Florida.
The beaches are just like the Caribbean
The beach from just north of Clearwater all the way down to Naples is the most beautiful in the U.S. in my opinion.
