The Best Things to Do in St Maarten are plentiful!

There are a tremendous amount of things to do in St Maarten.

There are several things I always recommend to people first visiting St Maarten.
One of those is to go to the Lotterie Farm which very few people know about.
It is family owned and built on the side of a mountain.
They have multiple pools of water around the property where you can swim or sit in lounge chairs.
They also have an entire zip line course set up on the mountain.
If you want a little adventure and to get your adrenalin going you’ll like it here!
The property is beautifully landscaped so I always recommend it to people.
Pertaining to dining, there are many wonderful restaurants in a place called Grand Case on the French side.
But on the Dutch side, my favorite restaurant is called Lees Roadside Grill.
Lees has the best grilled Tuna steaks I’ve ever had in my life!
I asked the chef why was their food so good and he said he has a lot of secret sauces which he marinates the meats in.
Then they smoke grill them on a huge grill they have which makes them delicious!
I actually think that delicious may not be a big enough word for their food.. hahaha
We also enjoyed Skip Jacks which had the hugest lobsters I’ve ever seen.
They weighed anywhere from 5 to 15 pounds!
These were also very tasty..
Downtown Philipsburg has a ton of shopping which my wife greatly enjoyed.
It’s built on Great Bay which has a great beach and some of the most beautiful water I’ve ever seen.
One of our other favorite beaches was a place called Mullet Bay in the Maho area just past the airport.
Mullet Bay was great for families with a gorgeous beach!
One other thing that was nice was they had food stands where they were grilling different things you could get to eat.
We spent a lot of time there.
The other beach where we spend a lot of time was the beach at our resort called the Flamingo Beach resort.
Most of the other resorts also have wonderful beaches for their guests to enjoy.
St Maarten over all is one of my very favorite islands in the entire Caribbean.
There are so many things to do, the beaches are so beautiful and the food is also great!
So overall I give St Maarten my absolute highest recommendation.
