In my opinion, the best resort in Sedona AZ is called the Los Abrigados Resort and Spa.

This property is fantastic!
Inside the lobby area you will find a 5 star luxury Spa.
The spa offers all types of wonderful treatments and it would be quite easy to spend a day relaxing at the spa!
They offer hot stone massages, regular Swedish massage, manicures, facials, pedicures etc.
The lobby building also offers an incredible gym which rivals any commercial gym I’ve been in.
The gym was huge with any piece of workout equipment anyone could want.
From the gym you can also go out to a veranda where there are spin bikes with a breath-taking spectacular view to enjoy while exercising!
Los Abrigados has around 160 units which have all been recently renovated.
We stayed in a two bedroom unit which was quite comfortable as there were just 4 of us.
In the living room there is a pull out sofa which makes into a queen sized bed. My son was on the which he liked because of the tv right in front of his bed!
My daughter was in the second bedroom which had a king-sized bed and also a soaking tub in the bathroom. Excellent for her also!
My wife and I had the master bedroom which had a king-sized bed and also had another soaking tub.

All the units also have a full kitchen. When I say full, I mean full.
They have pots, pans, refrigerator, microwave, silverware, glasses, coffee maker, blender, stove etc.
Anything you could want they have and makes for an excellent way to save money on eating out all the time.
Not that my wife wanted to cook much while on vacation, but we had cereal or eggs and toast in the mornings, (my wife and I had yogurt with berries)
We kept sandwich stuff for lunch, and we would have spaghetti or sometimes hot dogs, beef stew and the like for dinner.
Now, I also want to say we did have a few fancy dinners and breakfasts out, but certainly not every meal which saved us a lot of money!
Over-all I would assume we saved a few hundred dollars by not eating out every meal in a tourist area.
We enjoyed great food we bought much cheaper at the grocery store, and that’s not taking into account how much money we saved on our room stay compared to normal tourist rate.
All the savings made me very happy and made the vacation much more enjoyable!
The view out our window was nothing short of magnificent. I don’t really understand what causes the rocks to be so red, but they were some of the most beautiful formations I had ever seen and all we had to do was look out the window.
Truly amazing…
On the property there is a mini golf course which is great for all ages!
There’s also a very large chess and checkerboard (life size) set up for a fun game if you like.
There’s the beautiful stream that runs along the edge of the property where you can go to feed the ducks and maybe if you’re lucky, listen to someone playing an Indian flute with traditional Indian music.
In the town of Sedona surrounding the resort there are art galleries, all sorts of shopping, and also some very interesting people.
Sedona kind of draws a lot of spiritual type people due to the energy vortex (one of 7 on earth) located nearby. A vortex is a place where the earth emits an excessive amount of energy compared to normal energy readings.
So, in Sedona you also have people who will read your aura, hypnotize you to past life regressions, or tell your fortune. There are all sorts of crystal shops, old west shops, and lots of massage shops too!
The surrounding beauty of the red rock cliffs is one of the most beautiful places you will ever visit in the United States.
For hundreds of years it was a sacred area to all Indian tribes who’s beauty is now preserved in with lovely town of Sedona.
You cannot go wrong with choosing Sedona as a vacation area for a couple or for a family.
When you’re looking for the best resort in Sedona AZ, you can’t go wrong with the Los Abrigados Resort and Spa.
Sedona is a charming place with magnificent scenery and a multitude of outdoor activities for all ages to enjoy.
It is one of the places where I have personally taken my family multiple times and with each visit we’ve always made memories which last a lifetime.
I highly recommend Sedona as a wonderful vacation spot for couples and families alike!
